Do you feel sadness, loss of interest.  Changes in sleep, appetite, energy level, concentration, daily behavior, irritability, or  low self-esteem. Depression can also be associated with thoughts of suicide. 

Do you feel a strong sense of anxiety, inability to set aside a worry, and restlessness.  Anxiety may cause irritability, restlessness, shaking, lack of concentration, racing thoughts, or unwanted thoughts.

Body fatigue or sweating, excessive worry, fear, feeling of impending doom, insomnia, nausea, palpitations, or trembling. 

 Schizophrenia is characterized by thoughts or experiences that seem out of touch with reality, seeing or hearing things that others do not, disorganized speech or behavior, and decreased participation in daily activities. Difficulty with concentration and memory may also be present. 

 Symptoms may include nightmares or unwanted memories of the trauma, avoidance of situations that bring back memories of the trauma, heightened reactions, anxiety, or depressed mood.  We help people who  are of the "Me-Too" movement. People who have been raped, victoms of domestic violence, physically and mentally abused are alos inclued in the catagory of trauma.

 Symptoms generally begin before a child is eight years old. Symptoms include irritable mood, argumentative and defiant behavior, aggression (hitting, spitting, biting, throwing, breaking things, slamming doors, etc,), and vindictiveness that last more than six months and cause significant problems at home or school. Children may also show signs of attachment. Let's look at that in therapy.

 Losing a loved one is one of the most distressing and, unfortunately, common experiences people face. Most people experience normal grief and bereavement showing periods of sorrow, numbness, and even guilt and anger.   For some, feelings of loss are debilitating and do not improve, even after time passes.  Complicated grief is sometimes called persistent complex bereavement disorder. In complicated grief painful emotions are so long lasting and severe that you have trouble recovering from the loss and resuming your own life. 

People often feel stuck in life. One-on-one therapy/counseling is the best way of sorting out problems.  Psychotherapy, or talk therapy, is a way to help with a broad variety of mental illnesses and emotional difficulties. Psychotherapy helps to eliminate or control distressing symptoms so a person can function better, increase well-being and healing. 

Couples attend therapy for a number or reasons such as pre-marital counseling. In addition to infidelity, the greatest issues include intimacy, communication, money and major life changes such as starting a family  

 The aim of Christian Therapy/Counseling is to help people regain a sense of hope for their life that is found in Jesus Christ. Christian counselors seek to make people aware of the love of Jesus, to know their immense worth and value they have as a person to God.  Counseling is guided by the Word of God, which is the Word of Truth.

 Adjustment Disorder symptoms occur because you are having a hard time coping with change due to disaster, abuse, domestic violence resulting in homelessness, children taken from parents could result in adjustment disorder. Your reaction is stronger than expected for the type of event that occurred. Adjustment disorder is a group of symptoms, such as stress, feeling sad or hopeless and physical symptoms that can occur after you go through a stressful life event.
